A toddler on a park bench opening the lids of his green Turtle Snack Buddy

Home·About us

eat · educate · entertain

A child learns the world at the table.

Colour, shape, texture, weight, patience, company — a great deal of what a child first understands is understood sitting down to eat. Bobaby began there.

We did not begin with a plate. We began with a question: what if mealtime were designed for that, and not only for the food? So we stopped designing tableware and started designing characters — a snail, a butterfly, a turtle, a ladybug. Little doors to open, shapes to trace, colours to name.

Children don’t choose a plate.
They choose a friend.

One creature owns each colourway. A child picks theirs, gives it a name by the second day, and looks for it again at the next meal. That small act of choosing is the whole idea — and it is what brings a toddler back to the table without being asked twice.

One friend, two ways to meet them.

Every Buddy exists twice: a Meal set for the table at home, a Snack box for the bag. Same character, same silicone, two very different days. And four characters is not a range — it is a collection, which is why the second one usually arrives as a gift.

Three words we design against

Every Buddy has to do all three, or it does not get made.

eat

Food-safe and made for small hands, so the first spoonful is theirs.

educate

Colours, shapes and textures that grow motor skills and curiosity.

entertain

A cast of animal Buddies that turn every meal into play.
